Overview
The Department of Home Science was established in the year 1997 with an intake capacity of 100 students. The department remains committed
towards its mission, which is twofold. One is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and skills in Home Science
required for a fulfilling career. The other goal is to create and disseminate knowledge to improve education and practice.
Undergraduate Programme
The Department offers the B.Sc Home Science. Courses such as Management, Human
Development, Extension Education, Clothing & Textile, Food & Nutrition and many
other related courses are taught during the 3 year undergraduate degree
programme.
Postgraduate Programmes
Currently no P.G Programme is offered by the department.
